About the Asia Pacific Youth Football Tournament.
Thanks for visiting the APFT, and your interest in our youth football tournament. We truly appreciate your time and hope that you can join us for the 2019 tournament Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, making it an annual event on your team’s calendar. This is our 1st year for the youth tournament, after running a men’s tournament successfully for 6 years already. Thanks to teams like yours, we are happy to now open the doors to U9 to U18 divisions for both boys and girls. We have tried to include all the information you could need to make sure you are well prepared and have a great time while participating, but if you feel like we are missing something about a topic please contact us directly so we can implement it onto our site.
We decided to start the Asia Pacific Youth Football Tournament due in large part to help increase competition, and raise the level of football played by individuals and teams. We want to see Asian teams do better at a global professional level, and providing a stage for young players and industry professionals alike to come together is something that we hope will facilitate a stronger future for everyone. The other factor is about providing a high quality youth tournament as schools let out for summer so that both families and team’s can enjoy the football and a vacation if they have the chance in a beautiful country full of great things to experience and see.
