Our Team

Founded in 2014 as Fusion FC, and re-branded in 2020 after 2 years of planning, the Asia Pacific Football Club (APFC) brings together elite players with top-tier coaches to improve each player’s abilities while also developing his or her character on and off the field.

Today, the APFC is now a growing club, for players from 3+ years old, and focused on growing players to higher levels through a professional training platform. Recognized internationally, the APFT is also our own multi-national tournament series which hosts more than 3000 players a year in 4 countries.

Boasting a coaching staff from multiple countries including the USA, England, Spain, and others we know how to develop players. Our coaching team have professional experience, and includes former professional players, specialized trainers, and other highly experienced industry professionals.

While APFC focuses on developing youth players to be at the highest levels, we also understand that football should be fun, and enjoyed for an entire lifetime. In this regard, we want everyone who joins the APFC to have enjoy, improve, and live a healthy and balanced life. So no matter what our members grow up to be, they will be professional, respected, and balanced individuals.

U6 & U8

Our U6 & U8 (under 6 & 8 years old) teams are the foundation of our club, and sets the stage for the long term development plan that players will undergo with APFT.

At this level kids will gain a sense of the game for both attacking and defense.

We work with them to understand the game, improve fitness, and improve social and communication skills that will prove invaluable as they continue their development into society.

As kids develop through these teams in the club they will make friends, have fun, and build a greater appreciation for the game and a healthy lifestyle.

U10 & U12

Our U10 & U12 (under 10 & 12 years old) teams are where kids gain development of their tactical and technical elements of the game.

At this age kids will focus on 7v7 and 9v9 game formats, and have a stronger focus on physical and mental aspects as they progress.

We work with players to develop a wide variety of skills, understanding of game strategy, and begin focusing on speed of play and consistency.

As players move through these teams in the club they will make the transition into competitive football by playing more games, entering international competitions, and have more intensive training.

U14 & U16

Our U14 & U16 (under 14 & 16 years old) teams are focused on developing players competition level through a total approach on the 4 key components and 7 pillars.

At this level of the game players will be expected to manage themselves in a professional way, be responsible, and put in the work to be leaders.

We work with players at this level on 7v7 & 11v11 formats with a strong focus on developing their physical and mental attributes. This in turn will support their ability to compete at higher levels and give them a strong understanding of the entire mechanics of the game.

As players go through this level of the club they will be prepared to play for high school and other elite competition levels.

Elite

Our Elite team has no age restrictions and is focused on making players into the best they can be through intensive training and focus on speed, strength, and skills.

At this level of the game players will work hard on both technical and tactical attributes, and set challenging goals for themselves to develop. They will have the proper mentality and will be match fit to the professional level.

We work with players at this level with a focus on 7v7 & 11v11 formats with elite training levels expected to produce the best club football players.

Players in this level of the club will be expected to be role models for younger members, and will compete at the highest levels.

About You:

Each player selected will be the building block of a TEAM. The young person, who chooses The APFC, will already possess the desire to be an elite player with some level of self-motivation and self-discipline. It is the responsibility of the APFC coaching staff to bring the best out of these players; to develop their skills and their character; and to create an environment in which these players grow as individuals, as teammates, and as human beings.

Each Player Is Expected To:

Put in the work
Arrive on time for meetings, practices, and games
Complete the required off-field assignments
Set individual goals and put in individual work on the player’s own time to achieve those goals
Communicate effectively with coaches
Communicate effectively with teammates
Ask for guidance when necessary
Be an active member of the Club and their team
Be a leader

Criteria for Selection of Team Members:

Primary Considerations: Motivation; Selflessness; Competitiveness; Humility; Respect; Commitment; Discipline; and Coachability.

Secondary Considerations: Athletic Potential; Quickness; Intelligence; Awareness; Technical Ability; and General Mentality.

The APFC Program:

The APFC is all about building the best mix of players, to grow together, to compete, and to develop to the highest levels possible.

We are not like other academies or schools that want to get the most possible players into every training in order to turn a profit. We are dedicated to building players and teams that succeed both on and off the pitch. Life is a learning lesson, and we offer training and development to help our members be the best they can be.

To start, every player interested in joining will be given a 2 week trial with the club. During this time, we will see how you mesh with our team, fundamentals, expectations, and selection criteria.
